Military

The Emerald Coast is home for Eglin, Hurlburt, and Duke Field airbases.  Each base has a large presence in the economy and atmosphere of the community, and is the hub of central activity in the region.  The movement of military personnel, combined with the tourist activity year-round, makes the Emerald Coast a lively, active, and buzzing place of fun and work in the sun!
